2019 SIGNINGS

Tim Gover

Over the coming months there will be a lot of activity on this page including football positions available for Season 2019, these will be advertised on our Club website under CLUB POSITIONS and on the aflvic website.

 
WELCOME BACK TIM
 
The club is pleased to announce its first signing for 2019 Tim Gover. Tim who has played extensively for Chirnside at both junior and senior level returns to the club after a year away and will be a significant addition to our defensive group.
Importantly, as good as Tim is as a footballer he is an even better person and it's fantastic to have Tim, Jess and his family back at the club for 2019.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Aaron McNabMore great news for 2019 with Aaron Mcnab re-signing for next season. Nabby has been a tremendous asset for the club in recent years and his leadership on and off the field has been fantastic. In addition to playing next year we are proud to announce he will be taking on the role of Senior Assistant coach.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
sam kingThe club is pleased to announce Sam King has signed on to play again in 2019. Despite being an U19's player Sam stepped up and played 9 senior games for the club this year. His signing reaffirms our commitment to promoting and developing our club juniors and we are looking forward to having Sam at the club for what we hope is a long and successful career.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Greg McLeishIn more great news for the club we are pleased to announce the signing of Greg McLeish for the 2019 season. Greg is a tremendous presence both on and off the field and it's fantastic to have him back on board for the coming season.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
lachie eagletonAnother Chirnside Park Junior has recommitted to the club for 2019. After 2 years in our U19 team Lockie Eagleton stepped up to senior footy in 2018 and played 12 senior games for the club. It's great to have him back on board for the upcoming season.
Lockie also thought that a headshot was a bit too plain for him and wanted and action shot in his re-signing post! It great to have you on board for 2019 mate.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Bailey klewerThe club is very pleased to welcome our second new arrival for the 2019 season. Bailey Klewer joins us from Knox FC and has previously played his junior footy at Norwood. He's a tall, athletic half forward/wingman who will hopefully bring plenty of excitement to our Saturday afternoons.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
travis allisonTravis Allison is back on board for 2019. Trav has an extensive junior career at Chirnside Park and was our U19's captain this year. He also made his senior debut late in the season against Ferntree Gully. It's great to have him back for 2019 and we look forward to seeing him continue to develop as both a player and a leader around the club
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
nathan simmondsOur latest resigning for 2019 is Nathan Simmonds. Having not played footy in a few years and arriving late in the piece this year along with a few of his mates Nath put the work in and managed to play a couple of senior games before the seasons end. With a full preseason in 2019 we are looking forward to seeing him continue to develop as a footballer and push for more senior games.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
ryley bulmerAnother club junior is locked in for 2019. Ryley Bulmer played both senior and reserves footy this year as well as playing in our U19's. He's back on board for the coming season and is keen to do a big pre-season and play more senior games. Welcome back Ryley.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
jimmy wellsThe club is pleased to have Jimmy Wells back on board for 2019. Jimmy was another of our late arrivals this season but once he joined the club he worked his way into the seniors. Mitch wilsonMitch Wilson has re-signed for 2019. After stepping up from the U19's this year Mitch managed to play 17 senior games which is a tremendous effort in his first year of senior football.. Mitch and his family have been a big part of the club for many years and it's great to have him back on board for the coming season.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
jack wilsonWhy have one Wilson when you can have two! Jack Wilson will again be a Panther in 2019. This year he stepped up to senior footy and played 13 games after a long junior career at the club. It's great to have him back on board with his brother for the coming season.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
lachie meloniAnother of our U19's is locked in for 2019. Lachie Meloni joined the club a couple of years ago from Mooroolbark and has been a regular fixture in our U19's side since then. In 2019 he'll step up to senior footy and is very keen to have a big crack at the preseason and push for senior selection.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Jayden boehringerThe club is very happy to announce Jayden Boehringer is back on board for 2019. Jayden was a late arrival in 2018 but quickly made his mark up forward and played some great senior footy in the second half of the season. He's already in the gym preparing for what he hopes will be a huge 2019 season.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
harley chambersHarley Chambers will once again be back in the yellow & black in 2019. This year was a tough one for Chambo as he missed a large chunk of the year with an achilles injury. However, he's been very diligent in his rehab and can't wait to get back on the park with the boys next season.
