Trainers Courses


With the footy season creeping up quickly it's time for all Clubs to ensure they have qualified Sports Trainers.

The EFL Trainers Association in association with Sports Medicine Australia have confirmed the following dates for courses. Please ensure that your trainers are enrolled early so they don't miss out!

The following courses will be held at Eastern Healthcare, 157 Scoresby Road, Boronia.

CPR Update (HLTAID001)
**Available only to those involved in the Eastern Football League**

This course has been designed to equip individuals with basic skills to respond to a situation where emergency life support may be required. This course is a blended learning program which enables participants to learn the theory at their own pace through an online training resource.

CPR is one of the least practiced but the most vital skill of a First Aider. SMA therefore recommends, in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, that CPR is updated every 12 months.

Online learning program. (Will be sent out week prior to course)

Course Duration:
1 hour e-learning and 1 hour of practical workshop.

A full face to face learning option is also available. Contact your state for further details.

Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive a Statement of Attainment in the unit of competency HLTAID001 - Provide CPR.
